Mint Green Tea

Mint-green-teaA perfect blend of tea — mint and green tea, not only tastes great but is also good for your digestion. This makes it a perfect ‘after meal’ tea as it will cleanse the palate and aid with digestion.  It is usually served without adding milk — though a little honey can be a nice addition for those who like to drink their tea slightly sweet.  This also makes a perfect iced tea!  A very healthy tea choice, as mint itself has many health benefits which combine with the antioxidant properties of tea.

To Brew: Use around 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 200gm cup of tea.  Use boiled water, and steep tea leaves for 2 to 4 minutes, depending on the strength of tea you are looking for. Honey or sugar can be added though the tea is lovely without any sweetener.  If you are planning on serving the tea chilled you may want to add more loose leaf tea per 200gm of water.
