How to Make: Put four teaspoons of the mix into half a litre of boiling water and let boil for five minutes. Add a quarter to half a litre of milk and sweeten with sugar. Bring the tea to a boil again and once it is boiling take it off the stove and allow it to stand for five minutes before serving. If you prefer honey to sugar, please add the honey at the very end — after this second boiling.
To serve, pour the tea through a strainer.
If you are in a hurry, or prefer a less strong infusion, you can also easily prepare by simply pouring boiling water over 4 teaspoons of the chai. Again, allow to steep for four minutes, then strain into a cup and add milk and sugar to taste.
